I was at Babbacombe In Devon, England and this raven flew down beside me and looked out at the sea and then at me for awhile. It was a magical moment that took me by surprise and at first, because of stories of omens and loss was not a warm welcome to my peaceful day. Then it became like two beings in nature sharing and enjoying the sunshine of the day with the lovely view.

“Ravens often represent ancient wisdom, intelligence and transformation.” “The raven can represent various themes depending on your culture, lineage, and belief system.” “ the raven is a highly intelligent animal.” “In Norse mythology, for example, ravens served as important messengers for the god Odin, while in Celtic tradition, ravens were associated with knowledge and divine prophecy. Other cultures believed that ravens were related to war and battle, and in some Native American traditions, ravens represented the creation of the world and good luck.” I choose to believe in the good meanings and positive interactions with this Raven.
